Q1.What is the difference between Lightweight and Classic extra durable?

A1. All our File-o-frames are hand made by disabled workers. The Classic extra durable is completely hand bound and re-inforced at all corners and joints. Safe to use for younger children.

The Lightweight looks exactly the same on the wall. The outer lid is identical (It needs to be very durable because it is opened and shut such a lot). But the inside storage box part is made out of a lighter weight board and is folded into a box, not hand bound. Ideal for older children and adults - not so good for little kids.

Q2. How many pictures will it hold?

A2. At least 40 pictures, most likely a lot more.

Q3. What are the colours?

A3. Black; Blue (dark wedgewood ); Green (heritage); Red (cherry); Yellow (egg); White; Baby Pink.

Q4.How does it hang?

A4. Two holes in the back of the frame, so it can hang horizontally or vertically. Simply pop onto a hook or nail on the wall.

Q5. What is the frame made of?

A5. The frame is made out of heavy duty cardboard, which is actually much stronger and more durable than wood or plastic and a lot lighter.

Q6. What is the window made of?

A6. Clear UV protected, acid free plastic.

Q7.How does it work?

A7. File-o-frame comprises a box in 4 parts. (1) The base of the box forms the storage compartment. (2) The lid of the storage compartment is a hard flat white screenboard onto which the picture is mounted. (3) A plastic window lies over the picture (4) The outer, coloured lid with the window cut out forms the frame. Velcro on the sides of the outer lid holds the outer lid firm.

Q8. Can it frame bulky items like collage?

A8. Yes, File-o-frames will frame collage, macaroni art, puzzle, etc.

Q9.How is the picture stopped form slipping?

A9. A tiny sticky dot on the back of the picture stops it slipping. Wipes off clean afterwards (1 sheet of sticky dots provided with the frame).

Q10. Can I have more than 1 picture framed at a time?

A10. Yes because we use a dot and not a conventional mount, as many pictures as will fit in the window can be framed at once.

Q11. How long does it takes for delivery?

A11. Our delivery day is Tuesday or Thursday and normally it takes 5-7 working days.
